Customized Massage
Every massage is tailored to each client based on a discussion of goals and musculoskeletal evaluation. A variety of techniques may be utilized to help achieve those goals. Techniques are chosen based on the goal discussion and evaluation. Choose from 30, 45, 60, 75, or 90 minutes.
Cupping - Silicone and/or plastic cups are used to apply a suction force to help improve circulation and break up adhesions in the tissues underneath. The pressure can be adjusted to your comfort level. And no, you do not always come away with marks!
Fascia Therapy - Fascia is the glue that holds us together and it's also the scaffolding which gives us structure. If fascia is restricted or "tight", then the surrounding tissues such as muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves are restricted as well. This slow technique can use very deep to very light pressure in order to help create movement within the fascial system.
Trigger Point Therapy - A trigger point is an area of muscle tension that causes referred pain to a different location on the body. There are several techniques for trigger points depending on the location.
Muscle Energy Techniques (MET) - This term encompasses a variety of techniques that involve active movement from the client. These techniques are wonderful for improving range of motion.
